I have been tattooing and piercing over the years in Parksville, Nanaimo and Saskatoon. I opened Ink FX in the summer of 2019. My goal has always been to have a tattoo shop where everyone can feel welcomed and comfortable with their experience.

I specialize in black and grey illustrative realism, floral designs, anime and dark material.

Hey, my name’s Lynda! 
I’m an island raised artist with a diploma of visual arts, a lifelong pursuit of drawing and painting and 4 years of tattooing. I specialize in illustrative realism, gestural/painterly work, and whip shading but I’m pretty much up for anything style wise! Nature and the ocean are some of my deepest passions so I love working with these themes. Other themes I love working in are fantasy, a little pop culture, and mandala work.

My passion for piercing started at a young age. When I was two I pierced my own ears to be like my big sister. 

In 2016 I decided to make my passion a profession. I absolutely love what I do. I graduated Advanced Body Piercing through the Academy of Body Modification. Focusing on everything from surface anchors to your most private parts. When I am not working I spend my spare time staying on top of the current safety practices and most gentle techniques. Your comfort and safety are the utmost importance to me. I have taken numerous courses with the APP and several of its board members and renew my Blood Borne Pathogen Certification each year. I am available for walk-ins Monday-Saturday 12-7 for all of your piercing and jewelry needs.

Hi I am Alison, but I also go by "Money Mama" or "help me Alison" & around here.
I have been a bookkeeper and accountant for 6 years. I have been with Ink FX for 4 years, 3 from home and 1 in the front end of the shop. I switch between bookkeeping, greeting and answering questions for the great clientele that we have and generally helping out where I can. Working in this environment and with all the artists, technicians and the admin team is amazing. There is very rarely a dull moment working with this crew. When I am not here, I am at home with my amazing daughter,2 dogs, 2 cats and 13 quail, creating wonderful natural body products.

Hey everyone, I’m Irina!! I’ve been apprenticing under Kevin since February. My favourite styles to tattoo have been American Traditional and I’ve been wanting to get into Japanese Traditional as well, but I’m open to anything! I’ve always had a passion for art, and am so grateful for the opportunity of entering the tattoo industry.
